A Study On The Current Situation And Problems Of Providing For The Aged In Rural Areas Of Wafangdian City In China

In recent years,the pension problems of elderly in our country have become increasinglyprominent with the society aging rapidly.We can expect that in the decades to come,the aged problem in our country will bring a great deal of challenges for its economic development and store up trouble for social cohesion.China’s decentralized,patchwork pension system creates great disparity between urban and rural.Many farmers have no pensions at all,though have the power to pay into them,the identity of farmers prevents themselves from enjoying citizenship right.Rural pension woes have many causes and no quick fixes.This article takes the group of over 60 year old as the research object,through the form of questionnaire survey,in xv tun that Wafangdian city governs,the integrated use of public administration and sociology,economics and other subjects in the field of theory knowledge,understanding the problems of rural pension woes and related cause analysis.Through the study found that the vulnerability of China’s rural traditional pension ways,the weakness of China’s rural pension system and lack of China’s rural infrastructure is the main problem.On the analysis of typical countries and regions for reference for people,especially for rural old,on the basis of relevant social pension system,put forward on establishing the basic rural old in Wafangdian city optimization pension scheme,including the clear goal and principal,providing all-round resource and encouraging multiple subject to participate.Finally,from institutional setting,system construction,financial resources and cultural promotion aspects,the improved rural pension system for Wafangdian city is proposed.
