With the rapid development of our economic and the acceleration of urbanization, the need for land is increasing day by day, so the relative surplus of rural lands resources are becoming a major source of land needed for urbanization. In this background, countless traditional rural areas are constantly disappearing, a large number of rural lands have been expropriated by city. Then, thousands of farmers left their long-term hometown, and most of them were placed in the new style community, which were unitive designed and buildt by the government..Whereafter, these landless peasants began to adapt the environment and culture of city life, changing from peasant to citizen gradually.With the landless peasants quitted their farming villages for generations, they also lost their ways of life and cultural norms at the same time. After they moved into the new style community,the social capital of they own happened observably changes, experiencing the transition from traditional social capital to modern social capital. In this process, these landless peasants are not only in face of some unexpected and temporary problems in daily life, but also cannot but try their best to adapt the strangeness life condition and culture atmosphere in city life in order to achieve the transition of the modern model social capital.Taking the sociological theory of social capital for guidance by angle of view social vicissitude and using the research methods of participant observation and face-to-face interviews, my research set the "YA new style community " of Zao zhuang city, Shandong province as an example to field investigate there landless peasants the reality of their social capital. In this paper, I Selected the landless peasants who lived in the new style community as my study objects, separately described and analysed the reality, characteristic, influence factors and realistic significance of the social capital for them from the meaning of social capital including social network, trust, norms, participation and cooperation.On the base of my field investigate and qualitative analysis, considering the needs of my study objects, I consider that we should unite the government, community, social organization and residents work together in order to achieve these landless peasants' transition of the modern model social capital and the adaption for their city life.
