Nowadays,people attach more and more importance on the development and applications of computers,multimedia,and information technology.Especially the application of information technology in education and teaching has a tremendous impact on teaching method.Today’s information changes all the time,as a kind of technology,its essence is to serve the people.And people who want to make good use of information technology must be ready to update teaching concepts at the same time.As an educator,it is necessary to master the knowledge of the forefront dynamic developing trend to update teaching methods.It is almost a century since the appearance of information technology.(mainly referring to the appearance of computers since 1946,and the use of the Internet which can also be called the World Wide Web).During this time,numerous educators attempt to optimize the education status and inject new vitality in it through the use of multimedia and information technology.MOOCs and reverse class are meaningful attempt in this regard.However,what should not be overlooked is that today most teachers still carry out the old teaching methods.Faced with the College Entrance Examination,the mode of Hengshui Middle School is emulated by many schools and even intensified in some areas,which is on the contrary to quality education.Even though some teachers’ teaching concepts are very new,in the actual teaching process,in order to save time or to improve students’ score quickly,people intentionally or unintentionally ignore the integration of information technology and the discipline,and the use of information technology to change existing teaching methods.Now,this phenomenon has been noticed by some education researchers.On one hand,the state begin to hold training activities to update teachers’ concepts,on the other hand,to encourage teachers to participate in the selection of high-quality courses,research and other activities by the reward system.And also through some other ways to optimize the teachers’ teaching method.But this kind of top-down reforms are still not wholly satisfactory.For example,in the process of staff training,some teachers just temporarily learn to complete the task,and the number of present staff is only a bunch of meaningless number.Their good quality courses are excellent,but they seldom use them everyday.Researches are only for professional titles.In view of this situation,the paper chooses this topic with the hope that by studying this topic,what problems are existing in the use of information technology to optimize teaching methods,the causes and the solutions.Those are also the value of this research.In detail,by studying this topic,the paper wants to provide ways to integrate information technology and teaching methods for the majority of teachers and form the culture of using information technology to communicate and learn,to develop the habit of constantly strengthen ourselves so that students can learn happily.First,step into the daily life and work of the students and teachers,keep a good record in order to know the impact of information technology on student learning,and teachers’ real motives to use IT to update teaching methods.Second,get a good knowledge of the impact of school environment on the utilization of Information technology in teaching,and how to promote the change of school environment in order to lay a good base for the optimization of teaching methods.Third,this topic is rooted in facilitating the fully and healthy development of the students and cultivate their study interests.Influenced by some bad factors,primary and junior schools lack the attention towards students’ learning interests.This paper hopes to change students’ passive roles by information technology.
