Population aging has become one of the common problems worrying the world today. How to reform and build a pension system for national development is an important issue perplexing governments. The British pension system has been famous for its long history and maturation. Its national pension system experiences free pension system, contributory pension system, income linked to the pension system and occupational pension system.In the case of primary and secondary teachers pensions system, the social status of teachers is also closely related to payment. Since the 19th century, the British began to pay attention to teacher education, and to offer equal remuneration to school teachers and the civil servants, which promoted the growth of primary and secondary school teachers in England. With the maturation of domestic pension system, the teachers' pension system was also set up. English law and the bill have special provisions and calculation parameters for primary and secondary school teachers pension scheme. The development model is the same as other public sector occupational pension. Only slightly higher than other public sector in numeral value that ensures the primary and secondary school teachers in a higher social status. Through studying the British school teacher pension system, we can get valuable experience for our teacher development.Our pension system is still under way. China has established a pension system with Chinese characteristics, and the pension system is integrated with enterprise gradually. However, the teachers' pension system in China incorporates in public institution pension system. It is not independent. Therefore, there is no doubt that a multi-level social pension systems which Britain established, and the lessons during the formation of teachers'pension system will have big implications for us to improve our teachers' pension system.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter discusses the significance of this study and the present research status at home and abroad in detail. The second chapter analyzes the history of the British School Teachers'pension system. The third and fourth chapters introduces the model structure and operation of the primary and secondary school teachers' pension system in the UK. The fifth chapter is mainly on the assessment of British school teachers' pension system. And on the basis of summarizing the main features of the pension system, effectiveness and experience of the primary and secondary school teachers'pension system in the United Kingdom. Then we can get important revelation to reform and improve our primary and secondary school teachers' pension system.
