| Because of the long history, there are a lot of cultural relics in China. The relics have become good resources for the development of tourism. With the rapid development of economy, the government put more investment in tourism. At the same time, with the increasing income and more free time, people’s desire for experiencing different culture has become more and more strong. According to WTO(the World Tourism Organization), by 2015, China will become the largest tourist destination country as well as the fourth largest tourist source country in the world. The inbound tourists will reach 0.137 billion and the domestic tourists will account for 3.3 billion. The fast development of tourism will inevitably increase the demand of qualified technological-typed and skill-typed talents in tourism and hospitality management in China. However, there exist some serious defects in this industry in China, such as, the high outflow rate of employees in hospitality industry, the imbalance of supply and demand in the industry and the lack of senior managements in hospitality industry and so on. As far as the high vocational institutes are concerned, great changes have taken place in the student enrollment. It is easy for the students to enter vocational colleges and universities because of the relaxed enrollments; there is a variety of students studying in vocational colleges and universities; they have strong personality; the ways to receive education have changed. All above require that the hospitality management in high vocational institutes must have a reform in the teaching, especially in the talent training mode. The thesis has a better understanding of the current research situation both at home and abroad and got the first-hand materials through collecting documents, obtaining the authorized data from official websites and interviews and investigating in the typical hotels and colleges. In addition, the thesis has made a tracing survey to the graduates majoring in hospitality management in high vocational institutes. By both qualitative and quantitative analysis of all the collected data, the thesis has concluded a feasible research result and put forward GCEF Talent Training Mode in hospitality management of high vocational institutes. As a result, a high vocational institute is not the only one to train students, and the governments, colleges anduniversities, enterprises and parents should also participate in it. This community does not only conduct their own responsibilities but should have a close cooperation with one another as well. The thesis consists of three parts. Part one is brief introduction. It includes chapter one and chapter two. Chapter one illustrates the research background, research purpose, research contents, research progress. Chapter two is relative theories and the delimitation of the concerned definitions. Part two is main body. It refers to chapters three and four. Chapter three involves the construction of the model, which explains the linkage mechanism set up by governments, colleges and universities, enterprises and parents, methods of jointly training students and how to guarantee the quality of students’ training. Chapter four is about the verifying research, which elaborates the design of questionnaires, interviews and the handling of the collected data. The research makes a complete analysis of students’ behaviors, interviews and investigations to governments, colleges and universities, enterprises and parents and variety of demands by the ways of descriptive analysis and variance analysis. Part three is the example and conclusion. It includes chapter five and chapter six. Chapter five takes Liming Vocational University as an example and makes an effective analysis of the talent training mode in hospitality management. The findings show that the talent training mode will greatly help students find jobs which match their own specialty, increase the proportions of the industry retention, employment of high position and the industry development.
