Beginning with the issue of National Medium-and-Long Term Plan forEducation Reform and Development(2010-2020),especially after the NationalConference for Teachers’ Work, Chinese experts and scholars are paying more andmore attention to the reform of undergraduate normal talent training mode in normaluniversities. Talent training is always considered as the first function in universities orcolleges, and its quality has a very important significance on the quality of highereducation. Similarly, the undergraduate talent training mode has the same effects onthe quality of talent training.This paper analyzes the situations, problems and reasons of A University inYunnan Province through studying the theories related to the undergraduate normaltalent training mode in normal universities by the research methods of questionnaireand interview. Based on the above, we could give some useful suggestions to AUniversity in promoting the quality of its undergraduate talent training.This paper can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introductionwhich includes the dissertations reason, research significance, literature review,research methods and ideas. The second chapter is mainly about the core meaning of“the quality of higher education”,“the mode of talent training”, and “teacher training”,in addition, basic theories are mentioned in this chapter. The third is the collectionsand comparisons between A University and other universities in the field ofundergraduate talent training modes. The fourth is the questionnaire s used in thispaper, the problems and reasons of this university in normal talent training are in thischapter, too. The last offers proposals to the solution of the problems.
