The publishing of Sports (Health) curriculum standard (for short call it standard)is a big challenge and a time to transform the teaching concept of primary andmiddle school gym teachers even high school and university gym teachers inGuangxi province. In the fourth part of the standard, it is said that: establishexecutes solution of local course by exact local situation, and work out the schoolcourse teaching solution by exact school situation. The content required gymteachers must transform to be the designers and developer of school curriculumteaching plans which are conducted by them form the conductor of the teachingprogram which is in accordance with the country’s requirements. What is more, thepublishing of standard also requires the gym teacher become the researcher ofsport science, the guide of student learning and corperator.According to the demand of the standard, the writer designs the Guangxiuniversity sports education undergraduate ability questionnaire which isaccordance to the training purpose of Guangxi university sport education. Thebreakthrough point of the questionnaire is the ability of the undergraduate ofGuangxi university sport education, and the respondents are the Guangxiuniversity sport education professional grade2008undergraduates, and the contentis about the knowledge of the standard and the suggestion about what abilitiesshould a gym teacher have. The written will analysis the research result with theGuangxi university sport education professional training purpose and main courseinstalling. The reason why analyze with the ability of Guangxi university sportseducation majors the malpractice which in the Guangxi university sport educationprofessional training pattern and discuss the new pattern which is suitable for Guangxi university sports education undergraduate is that making the talenttraining pattern fit for Guangxi characteristics and have more sport educationprofessionals who has Guangxi characteristics.The research shows that: First, the Guangxi university sports educationundergraduate talents training pattern is simple which is the full-time trainingpattern in the four years. Second, Guangxi university sports education majors havelittle knowledge of the standard, but all of them hope to improve their ability bythe chance of the transforming. Third, Guangxi university sports education majorshave a pretty good quality about politics Ideologies and professional ethics whichis accord with the teacher’s professional moral requirement. Fourth, Guangxiuniversity sport education professional training pattern emphasize the ability ofsport professional teaching, and pay little attention in ability of theory teaching.Fifth, Guangxi university sports education majors’ weakness is the ability oftraining, the ability of sport science research and innovate, the ability of organizeand management and the ability of curriculum resources exploitation andutilization. Sixth, it is a waste of the Guangxi geographic strengths to have a few ofcorporation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.With the analysis above, we hope the Guangxi university sports professional cantransform their old teaching concept, and reformulate the purpose of talent training,create a new training pattern for having more sports education professionals whohave Guangxi characteristics and fit for our country and other ASEAN countries.
