Some people believe that the 21 st century will be the era of service economy after the era of experience economy. In the era of "leisure" and "the experience economy era", people no longer simply pursuit of material needs, the more attention to spiritual satisfaction. David kolb's experiential Learning focus on the process of learning, emphasizes the learner's experience, so as to achieve the unity of the perceptual and sensibility. Now, it is widely used in school education, it has changed the teaching mode that with the “teacher” as the center, more emphasis on the "learner" as the center's.Birdwatching is a leisure activities which is health, civilization and green, and put the leisure entertainment and "scientific knowledge" together will be more able to realize their value. Birding as experiential science popularization activities(In order to express convenient, hereinafter referred to as for the experiential birding, to distinguish the general birdwatching activity), it's the combination of entertainment and scientific knowledge, ensure that learners in a relaxed environment to learn scientific knowledge, and engage in environmental values.But the author found that it is hard to search the related literature about birdwatching, put the experiential learning and birding information together to research is more hard.Faced with this problem, the author attempts to put the two together, and with the specific case to analyze the importance of experiential birdwatching. This paper firstly gives a brief overview of the experiential birdwatching; secondly, analyses the significance of bird watching activities, emphasis on importance of popularize scientific knowledge and the environmental education; finally, how to organize young people participate birdwatching, discuss the birdwatching activities is significance and importance for different organizations experience.This paper hope to use a new perspective to express the birdwatching activities, make birdwatching activities as a form of experiential science activities to explain the significance of science and environmental protection. In addition, also make it a starting point to express how to guide young people to experience birdwatching, from school community, the science and Technology Museum, folk organization to explore how they organize and guide learners to participate in the outing, make the experiential birdwatching as a normal development.
