In recent years, logical thinking ability's development attracts more and more attention of educators. UNESCO has investigated more than 500 experienced educators around the world, in order to raise important goals of science education. In the 16 goals, the "developing students' logical thinking ability" goal is in second place. In our country, the Fifth "Quality Education and logical thinking forum" clearly proposed increase the weight of logical thinking skills in the college entrance examination. Therefore, how to effectively develop students' logical thinking ability has become the focus of attention of educators. With the development of technology, mobile educational games became an important part of student life. Mobile educational game can provide a pleasant learning environment and conditions, so learners acquire knowledge and develop thinking skills while playing a game.In this study, we designed a mobile educational game that can promote logical thinking. The game's elements are two food chains, so students can learn some biological knowledge when they play the game. In this study,we collected and analyzed a large number of relevant literature. On this basis, we obtain some results. The main contents include the following aspects.1. To constructed an instructional design model for digital educational games. The model integrated learning theory with instructional design theory, game design theory and logical thinking, and other related theories. Based on the analysis of learning objectives, learner, game mission and game-based learning environment, the model combines problem solving and logical thinking process in order to improve logical thinking ability.2. Design and develop a Mobile Educational Games. Under the guidance of instructional design model for digital educational games, there is a detailed analysis of the game. And then, we develop a game named "Sudoku intellectual development" and verify the feasibility of the game.Because of the limited of time and technique, there are many issues in the game design and development. Future work will focus on improve each aspects of the game.
