The Establishment Of The Evaluation Index System For Sports Events In Primary And Middle Schools And The Empirical Study

With more schools introducing physical education-related policies, people attach greater importance to sports events in primary and middle schools. As a crucial part of the school work and a key symbol of the development of school physical education,these sports events play an important role in physical education in schools and students' extracurricular sports activities. So the exact and all-round evaluation of sports events in primary and middle schools are important to the supervision and guide of them.By the means of theory analysis and empirical study, according to the overall goal and basic principles of the development of sports events in primary and middle schools, the evaluation index system for sports events in primary and middle schools has been established and empirically studied in the paper after the author does field researches in some schools and refers to some established comprehensive evaluation measures of sports events,such as the literature method, the Delphi method, the semi-structured interview method, the analytic hierarchy process and the statistical method.This paper, taking sports index system in primary and secondary schools as study target, regarding experts and scholars involving in school sports and sports and front-line teachers as survey respondents, through adopting the methods of documentary, Delphi, half-structured interview, AHP,mathematical statistics analysis and so on, makes construction study on sports evaluation index system in primary and secondary schools.On the basis of literature review and field researches, the paper identifies the evaluation indexes of sports events in primary and middle schools from the perspective of basic conditions,organizations and managements, and benefits of sports events and campus physical cultures, primarily selecting 81 indexes. As for the Delphi method, 30 experts have been selected, especially those who work on and study sports events in schools. And two rounds of expert consultations have been held to discuss the back-up indexes of evaluating sports events in primary and middle schools. Then opinions and the results of assessments given by experts have been summarized and analyzed so as to reasonably choose indexes. And then the AHP method is used to compare the important indexes inpairs given in the second round research by experts and to check the consistency so that reliable and scientific indexes can be got.Finally the evaluation index system for sports events has been determined. There are four items in the secondary index, namely,basic conditions, organizations and managements, and benefits of sports events and campus physical cultures, and 60 items in the third index. Thus, forms of evaluation for sports events in primary and middle schools have been formed and has been empirically studied, taking the 2015 autumn sports meeting in Kangjie Middle School in Yuncheng as the research object. It has turned out that the evaluation index system for sports events in primary and middle schools are feasible to some degree.
