Study On Undergraduate Legal Education In Hainan Province Under The Background Of Comprehensively Promoting Ruling The Country By Law

Since the new century,the pace of legal construction in China has been speeding up.From the 16th National Party Congress report proposed to take 'rule the country in line with the law' as the central strategy to building a socialist country,to the 'to comprehensively promote ruling of country by law' in the 18th National Party Congress report,and the 4th plenary session of 18th CPC Central Committee introduced The Chinese Communist Party Central Committee's Decision on a Number of Important Issues in Relation to Comprehensively Implementing Governing the Country by Law,a series of theories invention and strategies is of great significance for construction of legal system in China.Undergraduate legal education is a very important part in building socialist country under rule of law,also is quite necessary in ideological and political education to college students.Based on research and investigation,this essay analyzes the status quo of the undergraduate ideological and political education under the background of comprehensively promoting ruling country by law in China,its existing problems and related reasons,and then proposes solutions accordingly.The essay could be divided into six parts.First part is the introduction part,mainly states the problems raised,the significance of the study,domestic and overseas literature review and road-map etc.The second part mainly illustrates the introducing of comprehensively promoting ruling country by law and its significance.Then based on the analysis of the relevant concepts on legal education,put forward under the new conditions and background how to cultivate college students to become qualified for the needs China's rule by law.The third part reviews the development of undergraduate legal education in China since the reform and opening up.And it proposes that the development could be divided into three phases--popularizing basic knowledge of law,cultivating of legal awareness,enhancing legal merits.The fourth part of this essay studies the practices and features of the legal education of six universities in Hainan Province,then analyzes the main problems and reasons accordingly,both subjective and objective.The fifth part proposes approaches to improve undergraduate legal education in Hainan province.Mainly includes strengthening the top-level design,scientifically planning the overall layout of the legal education in colleges and universities;Optimizing targets of legal education,focusing on development of students' legalawareness,knowledge,capability and believes;Reforming the evaluation system of ideological and political theories education,guiding education mode innovation and improving education effect;Enhancing construction of practical platform of the legal education,improving college students' legal practice ability;Optimizing legaleducation atmosphere,creating good environment for legal society;Strengthening construction of legal education team,providing strong teaching power for legal education.
