Sci-fic, short for science fiction, refers to the scientific and reasonable imagination about future, with the existing scientific discoveries as the bases. It is closely related to the cultivation of people's imagination and innovation thinking. Middle school students are the hope of the country whose innovation ability determines the future of the country. However, most of the current middle school students lack the ability of imagination and consciousness of innovation, so it is urgent for the educators to explore new direction of education. This paper aims to introduce the Sci-fic, hoping to promote students' innovative thinking and the ability of innovation.This paper, based on the literature method, with the investigation and interview towards the biology teachers and students in middle school, gains a more comprehensive understanding of the current situation of the Sci-fic consciousness cultivation in the middle school biology teaching. On this basis, the Sci-fic elements are introduced by the author into middle school biology teaching to carry on the preliminary research and to conduct the teaching design about cultivation of that consciousness. Then the author constructs a more scientific and comprehensive teaching design by taking the teaching practices and kind of evaluations into consideration. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part gives a brief introduction to the basic meaning, characteristics, research background and current situation of Sci-fic. The second part explains the research theory this paper depends, the research methods and research significance. The third part is the main part, detailedly describing the basic process of the Sci-fic consciousness cultivation of biology teaching. In the forth part, the author makes examples for the teaching design for three different kinds of classes. The fifth part is the preliminary evaluation of the teaching design, based on which, the conclusion of the paper is drew and shortcomings of the current are put forward. The last part is the epilogue, summarizing the paper and putting forward the direction of further research.This paper argues that the Sci-fic elements into biology teaching can improve students' innovative thinking and ability. Such teaching design can also be used as an effective bridge between traditional teaching and innovative learning. It plays an important role in activating class atmosphere, stimulating the students' interest, consolidating the basic biological knowledge and exploiting the new field of science and technology. This paper is hoped to provide some insight and reference to the biology teachers and to cause teachers' great attention to the Sci-fic consciousness cultivation. It also proposed to take Sci-fic consciousness cultivation as a guide in biology teaching in middle school.
