With the advance of educational informationization, the globalization of educational resources, individuation of teaching and autonomization of learning have become an inevitable trend. Since 2012, the Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC) has been in a rapid development stage.However, due to the problems such as high-cost, high enrollment with low pass rates, a new type of small private online courses emerges quietly—— SPOC. SPOC integrated MOOC teaching model and the traditional classroom teaching model, becoming the true value of online education in university campus. At the same time, with the 2015 government work report raising the "Internet plus initiative" to the national strategy, the "Internet plus education" has not only become an enormous challenge for universities, but also provided support and protection for the reform of the higher education teaching model in the leading of SPOC teaching model.However, the study on SPOC model still has many deficiencies. For instance, theoretical study is behind of teaching practice, and the existing studies are lacking of practice to check scientificalness and effectiveness. To solve this problems, this paper proposed the topic: SPOC teaching model is necessary and effective in university courses teaching.It aimed to promote the effective use MOOC resources in universities, promote the reform of the higher education teaching model, increase students' participation, interactive and learning depth.The paper is composed of three main points:1.In this paper, literature study was used to know the current problems of teaching and the deficiency of research on SPOC model. And then the paper find the entry point, elaborate the theoretical basis of SPOC teaching model, analyze the feasibility and advantages of this model while applying in university.2.This paper was starting from the problems in education, and bases on the basic trend of universities teaching model transformation, the functional objective of SPOC teaching model.This paper builds a SPOC teaching model using methods of induction and deduction.And this paper analyzes several basic elements, such as front end preparation, restrictive access, procedural organization and multiple evaluation etc.3.This paper understood the actual needs of "object-oriented programming" in Shandong Normal University through questionnaires, build a Moodle course platform and design the course based on SPOC teaching mode.And then set up a teaching practice which lasts for 12 weeks. After the end of the course, this paper studied the effect of this teaching mode from three angles: first, analysis students online learning behavior by using social network analysis and other methods to explores students' interaction and participation; second, carry out comparative analysis between students current grades and former grades to explore the validity; third, use questionnaires and interviews to understand students' and teachers' experience.Study shows that the SPOC teaching model is scientific and feasible in university programming language courses.It can not only enable students really benefit from MOOC, but also has a significant effect on improving student engagement, interaction, learning depth etc. And in particular, it plays a positive role in promoting students' understanding, skills improvement and cooperation capacity upgrade.The innovation of this study lies on, firstly, the innovative topic.This paper is under the requirements of higher education teaching development trends, and build a new SPOC teaching model. The second one is research method, this paper carried out multi-angle,visualization exploration using social network analysis and other learning analysis methods. This study has strong practical significance, it not only makes the MOOC change from resource supply oriented to campus curriculum and teaching oriented, but also has reference meaning for university to meet reform of teaching models and credit management mechanism under the internet environment.
