Our current country is in the period of social transition,as a series of social problems involved in the social groups,the group of college students also showed the characteristics of moral landslide,loss of ideal,interpersonal indifference and many other problems.As is known to all,since the reforms and opening-up in China,the western culture and values has been introduced to our country subsequently,which produce certain effect on traditional culture and values of our country.Under the impact of multiple values,some students began to pursue individual freedom,subvert the tradition,and subvert the mainstream,they even think the contemporary era of China has become a moral disorders.In this social background,quite a number of college students shows the disorder of moral cognition.The moral cognition is the early period of moral behavior,and it is the base point of moral practice.People's cognitive activities is the social situation,it give feedback to others according to the external information,which form understanding and awareness of the object of personality.Therefore,the correct cognition of moral phenomenon is the necessary premise of moral practice.For college students,moral education in colleges and universities should shoulder the main task of guiding students to form correct moral cognition.Colleges and universities moral education in real life,however,the current moral education in colleges and universities is not satisfactory,which lead to college students shows the phenomenon of regardless of good and evil,having no sense of right or wrong,confusing the beauty and uglinessIt is visible that forming the correct moral cognition is the key of the college students' moral practice.Choose reasonable way of moral cognition is the key to moral education in colleges and universities.In Chinese traditional culture,Confucianism has a major position,which is rich in the Confucian theory of moral cognition.Confucianism has a cognitive style in knowledge,learning and thinking,namely obtaining knowledge by investigation of things,considering others in one's own place,seeking the cause in ourselves instead of others,which is worthy of reference for the contemporary moral education in colleges and universities.^These three ways of moral cognition have important enlightenment on contemporary moral education in colleges and universities,namely the moral education should trigger moral reflection of college students in colleges and universities,and improve college students' self-reflection ability;Moral education should guide students to establish the moral spirit in colleges and universities,and form college students' inner moral belief;Moral education should guide the moral practice of college students in colleges and universities to,and realize the moral responsibility of college students.
