In 21st century, focus of education has gradually transformed into the cultivation of students'ability from imparting knowledge. Music appreciation course of high school is an important part of the high school music courses, and it's key point and difficult point of teaching that how to innovate teaching pattern, increase the learning interest of the students, let students feel better music, experience music and appreciate music in teaching. The author thinks that experiential teaching is one of effective methods which can solve this problem.Teaching of experience type promotes "learning by doing", which emphasizes the dominant role of students and leading role of teachers, and it pays attention to students'personal experience and the process of the experience to let the students have summary and reflection on the basis and form a full range of cognition for new knowledge. Experiential teaching adds more teacher-student interaction, student-student interaction, which changes the static classroom of traditional teaching into dynamic classroom of innovative teaching. Students can not only learn knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, but also can increase the students' music learning interest and music appreciation ability. In our country, foreign language, Chinese,sports and other courses have been a more extensive research and tentative application for experiential teaching, however, in the teaching of music, especially in the teaching of music appreciation of high school,it has less application, it is also one of the reasons why the author studies this article.This paper mainly adopts literature research method to have a summary and analysis to the theory of experiential teaching, and it combines with its music appreciation teaching practice, and this paper adopts case analysis method to do a more deep research for the problem that teaching of experience type how to be applied in music appreciation course of high school, and this paper want to prove whether implement of experiential teaching is effective or not in music appreciation course of high school. The paper is divided into four parts:the first part mainly has statements about research background, significance, methods, related research literature; the second part summarizes the connotation and theoretical basis teaching of experience type and the enlightenment for the teaching of music appreciation in senior high school; the third part combines with the teaching cases of actual music appreciation classroom to focus on doing a analysis for application strategy of experiential teaching, and it do a investigation and summary for the effect of the application; the fourth part put forward suggestions that how to use experiential teaching in the teaching of music appreciation. Through the research, the author thinks that the experiential teaching can improve the teaching effect of high school music appreciation course and the student's learning interest, and it makes for enriching the students'emotion, adjusting student's emotion, cultivating students' autonomous learning ability and the ability of appreciate music.
