China is paying more and more attention to the important role of music education in basic education for students.The new curriculum reform emphasizes that music education should focus on aesthetic education.Music appreciation courses are an important way for schools to implement aesthetic education.The new curriculum standards also require cultivation of core literacy.And develop students' aesthetic perception,and enhance students' artistic literacy.Based on the "student-oriented" educational philosophy,the needs of students,especially the aesthetic needs of music in music appreciation courses,are particularly important,which directly affects the effectiveness of teachers' teaching and the quality of teaching.Only by understanding the needs of students can teaching activities be carried out more efficiently.The article consists of three chapters.The first chapter analyzes the status quo of high school music appreciation courses,mainly focusing on the analysis of the music appreciation modules in the high school music courses,and discussing the teaching materials currently used by Nanjing No.1 Middle School.Analyze,and then emphasize the importance of aesthetics in music appreciation courses from the perspective of aesthetic needs.The second chapter analyzes the problems in the music appreciation course based on the questionnaire survey of high school students in Nanjing No.1 Middle School through the teaching practice of the music appreciation course.The third chapter proposes strategies and suggestions for optimizing the teaching of high school appreciation courses for the problems found.It is hoped that this article will have a certain promotion significance for improving the teaching of music appreciation.
