But as a matter of education balanced development, the national economy and people's livelihood of rural compulsory education in our country, how to respond to a major change, the countryside elementary school principals to respond to the changes in the internal and external environment pressure and challenges? Research finds that:(1) The dimensions of principals leadership devel opment is not balanced (2) The county, township elementary school principals leaders hip level is significantly higher than Cun principals (3) The principal leadership level has no significant difference between men and women (4) The leadership of rural ele mentary school principals aged 40-49 is the highest (5) Bachelor degree or above leve 1 of rural primary school principals leadership is significantly higher than under bachel or degree (6) Rural boarding primary school principals leadership are significantly high er than that of the not-boarding principals (7) Large, medium-sized rural elementary s chool principals leadership are significantly higher than small school principals. According to the study found that to enhance the level of rural primary schoolprincipa 1s leadership put forward the relevant countermeasures and Suggestions.
