Mr Tao xingzhi is a forerunner of rural education in our country, the principal has a high evaluation, the principal is the soul of a school, want to evaluate a school first, should first evaluate the headmaster of the school. In the school management, the headmaster's key position can make it from all aspects of school life affect the school work and policy implementation. In 2011, the urban population in our country for the first time in history more than the rural population, urbanization rate of 51.27%, this shows that in China's rural society is an important change and change. But as a matter of education balanced development, the national economy and people's livelihood of rural compulsory education in our country, how to respond to a major change, the countryside elementary school principals to respond to the changes in the internal and external environment pressure and challenges? These are matters that need to be solved.In view of this, this paper takes 13 provinces of rural primary school principals as the research object, according to the theories, in reference to the five dimensions model and on the basis the scale, building a questionnaire, and carried on the empiric al investigation. Research finds that:(1) The dimensions of principals leadership devel opment is not balanced (2) The county, township elementary school principals leaders hip level is significantly higher than Cun principals (3) The principal leadership level has no significant difference between men and women (4) The leadership of rural ele mentary school principals aged 40-49 is the highest (5) Bachelor degree or above leve 1 of rural primary school principals leadership is significantly higher than under bachel or degree (6) Rural boarding primary school principals leadership are significantly high er than that of the not-boarding principals (7) Large, medium-sized rural elementary s chool principals leadership are significantly higher than small school principals. According to the study found that to enhance the level of rural primary schoolprincipa 1s leadership put forward the relevant countermeasures and Suggestions.
