Chinese American professor Wu Yi Hsiang, male, born on February 3, 1937 in Yueqing County, Zhejiang Province(now Wenzhou Yueqing City) Zhiren Xiang Ao village(now the village of Da Tai men), the famous mathematician and geometer, mathematics educator.This study systematically summarizes the Wu Yi Hsiang's contributions in mathematics education for China, and implementation of on the planning of “middle school mathematics experiment teaching material” for content arrangement and teaching two aspects to carry on the review and analysis, reaction the time use “middle school mathematics experiment teaching material”, to restore the 1980 s a part of mathematics education in the middle school history, expect to it's enlightenment and reference of the current mathematics education.The first chapter, introduction. In this chapter describe the paper's research background, purpose and significance, research status, the research methods and innovation of this paper.The second chapter, the life of the Wu Yi Hsiang. The introduction of the family and individual about Wu Yi Hsiang, the situation of Wu Yi Hsiang's participation in the domestic mathematics education activities, Wu Yi Hiang's books and mathematical education ideas and other aspects made a simple introduction.The third chapter, the analysis about the teaching materials. In the “middle school mathematics experiment teaching material” write, “concise and practical, back to basics” as the principle of material, “to logical and simple teaching” as material's content, as far as our students to provide “modernization” of the textbook.
