Based on investigation of students in 3 primary schools of Guangzhou, who have learning difficulties in Chinese, this paper carried out an analysis by questionnaire survey, interview and observations. During the course, the author observed those students' learning behaviors and analyzed their problems and confusions, aiming to find out the causes behind and thus give out suitable advises for that particular situation.This paper first reviews a lot of relevant previous researches, lists the research status on students with learning difficulties in and abroad, clarifies the research background, process, aims, significance and key concepts. All these provide the theoretical research basis, which is the theory guidance for this paper. Then it demonstrates the research contents and methods, as well as the creative study according to the shortage of previous researches.Under the guidance of previous researches, the author designed questionnaire and interview outline and do the specific survey to students, teachers and parents.Based on the survey data, the author briefly analyzed the learning situation of students with learning difficulties in Chinese, and found out their problems are the shortage of basic knowledge, memory and language ability as well as reading difficulties. The author listed their problems with detailed cases and then analyzed the causes in 3aspects: 1. Students' problems are lack of learning interest about Chinese, improperlearning habit, invalid learning method, negative self-appraise. 2. Teachers' influential factors are their teaching abilities and the relationship with students. 3. Parents' problems are their old awareness of family education and too strict requirements.This paper proposes feasible suggestions on students with learning difficulties in Chinese for teachers and parents, according to the requirements within Compulsory Education Language Curriculum Standards(2011) and focusing on the behaviors of students with learning difficulties and causes. Firstly, set up an effective communication between teachers and students to help students reinvent themselves.Chinese teachers need to be more flexible in the classroom teaching according to the levels of different students, and arouse their interest more. Secondly, parental countermeasures concentrate on changing the improper parental education belief to more participation in their children's Chinese learning and more active communications with teachers on learning Chinese. Thirdly, students should correct their learning attitude towards Chinese, set a definite goal, choose the effective learning method, and form a good learning habit. These three countermeasures work together, so that the students are able to successfully get rid of learning difficulties in Chinese. All the strategies should not be considered as the isolated one, but must be applied comprehensively and flexibly. Only in the comprehensive way, will the transformation of students in learning difficulties be successful.
