Comprehensive inquiry course,an important part of high school ideological and political teaching material,is indispensable for each unit study.It is a summary and extension for each unit knowledge,and is a means to cultivate students' ability to use knowledge comprehensively and analyze or solve problem properly.The implementation of comprehensive inquiry teaching has a great significance to the implementation of new curriculum reform,the transformation of students' learning and thinking mode,the transformation of teachers' concept,the improvement of teachers' comprehensive quality,and the implementation of "three dimensional goal" of ideological and political teaching.Therefore,this article aims at inquiring and exploring the comprehensive inquiry course of compulsory 1 ?economic life?in high school ideological and political teaching material.Firstly,this paper inquired the teaching status quo of the implementation on comprehensive inquiry course in?economic life? teaching material,through a questionnaire survey on 121 high school students in a middle school.This survey showed some problems existing in the students:(1)Students attach less importance to comprehensive inquiry course and have a low enthusiasm to participate it;(2)The current comprehensive researching class to form a single,students expect to take the rich variety of forms;(3)Students have a poor ability to integrate,analyze and solve problem.Teachers problems are:(1)lack of emphasis,to form a single;(2)evaluation way is not reasonable;(3)Teachers have some difficulty in mastering teaching time.Then,the author respectively analyzes the problems existing in the teachers and students,and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures.Additionally,the author conducted a further study on 48 students in a senior grade one class,distributing test paper to test the students' learning ability before and after the teaching practice.Then,according to the comparison and analysis of the before-and-after tests result and the interview of students participating in the test,this paper finally comes to some conclusion:(1)The implementation of the comprehensive inquiry course has changed teachers and students' attitude towards it;(2)Through comparing the result of the before and after tests,it confirms that,the implementation of the comprehensive inquiry course can indeed improve students' political thinking mode,students' ability to analyze and solve problems,and ability to use knowledge in a general way.
