As a kind of art,drama is aesthetic.However,drama teaching has been ignored for a long time in Chinese language curriculum and academic research.In this paper,it is considered that drama teaching does not only lie in text interpretation,but more importantly,students should be encouraged to give dramatic performances on the stage.Due to the fact that drama teaching is a process in which a great number of unexpected teaching events may occur,and therefore the method of educational narrative research is used in this paper,and moreover,"I",as the object of the research,personally experience the practice process of drama teaching in junior high school and meanwhile collect the stories about drama teaching by means of observation,internal monologue,literature review,etc.In the first part of this paper,the existing problems in drama teaching and the research about drama teaching are put forward.In the meanwhile,it also introduces the method of narrative research as well as "I",as both the researcher and the object of the research.Secondly,it describes the stories,problems and "my" mental activity in the process of drama teaching.Thirdly,the problems arising in the process of drama teaching are summarized and meanwhile the corresponding suggestions are given.
