Along with the rapid economic and social development in China and against the backdrop of the implementation of policies on the national college expansion and higher education's deepening reform, the original pattern, single campus, has been broken up and multi-campus structure becomes. a new situation of higher education, because of the rapid expansion in size of institutions of higher education. Since many institutions of higher education take the new-built campus as the main campus for development, it brings the decline of the resource utilization level of the old campus of institutions of higher learning or even a large number of resources idled. How to improve the level of resource utilization of the old campus of institutions of higher learning is not only the optimal allocation of internal integrated resources utilization of institutions of higher education and the inherent requirement for institutions of higher education to improve comprehensive educational efficiency, but also the great historical responsibility to better meet the educational needs of the masses, in the context of China's "great power to do great education" and lack of education resources.Southwestern University of Finance and Economics as a key university of national "211 Project", its campus covers an area of 757.78 acres in 2001. According to the three standards for land used per student in "Construction Planning Area Targets of Regular Institutions of Higher Learning " formulated by "the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Construction and the State Development Planning Commission in 1992, in'Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, the land gap reached 648 acres, which seriously restricted n the development and construction of the university. In 2001, approved by the Ministry of Education and given 1,500 acres land expropriation in Wenjiang County, Liulin Township to construct new campus, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics then made the new campus as its main campus to meet the huge size expansion. In September,2009, when the main fundamental education of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics shifted to the Liulin Campus, the resources utilization in the old campus——--Guanghua campus, became the focus of the decision-makers, teachers and students. At this point, this thesis based on the analysis of integrated resources utilization of the old campus of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics——--Guanghua campus, studies the integrated resources utilization in institutions of higher learning.This thesis starts with the development process of China's Multi-campus of institutions of higher education, based on the conclusion of multi-campus mode and multi-campus resource utilization of institutions of higher learning, particularly, the basic experience of the use of the old campus, and based on empirical analysis of the integrated resources utilization problems in practice and the resulting root of the problems of Guanghua campus of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, strives to explore a new model of the integrated resources utilization, improve the comprehensive utilization level of internal resources of institutions of higher learning, realize the symbiotic interaction patterns of multi-campus and enhance the comprehensive education effectiveness of institutions of higher learning.This thesis, economics-based, involves a great deal of pedagogical knowledge in interdisciplinary research, in the course of the study combines the integrated use of the normative analysis and empirical analysis. First, through resource collection, understand the causes of the formation and its development of multi-campus of institutions of higher learning in China, especially the basic conditions of the resource utilization of the old campus; and then use empirical analysis, analyze the integrated resources utilization in practice of Guanghua campus of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, discover the problems, explore the reasons, and propose solutions.
