As we all know, developing interest is more important than learning itself, this especially applies to high school math learning. Due to the characteristics of high school mathematics and own reasons of students, high school math is both loved and hated by the students. On one hand, it has a pivotal position in the entrance exam, on the other hand, it requires convoluted way of thinking. The longer the learning process continues, the less interest students will have in math learning. Therefore, it becomes one of the important tasks for teachers to develop math learning interest of the students.In order to make high school teaching and learning more efficient, to get practical methods and strategies in developing interest in mathematics learning of the students, to improve daily teaching technique, this thesis researches the strategies in cultivating math learning interests of the students due to current high school situation.This thesis uses literature research and survey method. By exploring the subjective and objective factors that affect high school students' interests in learning mathematics and investigating high school students' interests and motivation to learn, we find that it's a common situation that the students lack interests in math learning. Survey results show that the teaching ability of teachers, teaching materials and methods, teaching attitudes and personal qualities of teachers have a great impact on students' interest in learning. Therefore, by understanding the reasons for low interest in learning among the students, combining the actual situation of class with the results of our survey, we summarize practical methods and strategies to cultivate math learning interest of the high school students, which can lay a solid foundation for efficient classroom. That is, by focusing on the influence of mathematical culture, guiding students to appreciate the beauty of mathematics, carrying out open teaching activities and enhancing teachers' abilities to develop high school students'interests in learning mathematics. Finally, by using our strategies in math class, we experience the process and effect of teaching cases.
