With the update of views on knowledge and education, pattern of teacher learning and development is slowly coming into focus. It's a more initiative, routine and inner-quality-oriented process for teachers compared with outer-formation-oriented. Focusing on the internal process of teacher learning and development, this study defines it as seven dimensions. They are learning and development motivation, information literacy, culture cultivation, self-reflection, career planning, teamwork, belief and mission. By collecting data through a questionnaires with 989 kindergarten teachers around the country, this empirical study investigates the factors influencing kindergarten teachers' learning and development.Results indicated that:1. Kindergarten teachers' motivation on learning and development varied significantly by the years of service, the position they held, first degree, urban or rural, and marital status.2. Kindergarten teachers' information literacy varied significantly by the position they held and first degree.3. Kindergarten teachers' culture cultivation varied significantly by the position they held.4. Kindergarten teachers' self-reflection varied significantly by the years of service, the position they held, and first degree.5. Kindergarten teachers' career planning varied significantly by age, the years of service, professional title, the position they held, major, educational background upgrade, staffing, salary, school type and marital status.6. Kindergarten teachers'teamwork varied significantly by age, the years of service, professional title, the position they held, staffing, salary, school scale and marital status.7. Kindergarten teachers' belief and mission varied significantly by age, the years of service, professional title, the position they held, staffing, salary and marital status.8. Kindergarten teachers' learning and development varied significantly by the years of service, professional title, the position they held, first degree, salary and marital status.Based on the results, some notes are proposed in the process of promoting kindergarten teachers learning and development.
