Self-concept is an important part of the self consciousness, which reflects the development level of individual self-consciousness. It is precondition of self experience and self control. And It is the result of the individual interacts with the outside world (especially the "significant others"). As the important others, teachers'composition comments are the one of the important factors of teacher's influence. The main purpose of this study was to investigate teachers'composition comments influence on children's self-concept, and provide for teachers guidance advice about understanding and tutoring the psychological status of students in a certain extent.This research adopts the" peris-Harris self-concept scale" for measuring tools, the scale of the reliability is 0.81, and retest reliability of the median is 0.74, which dimensions inside have good consistency. This scale apply to 8-16years children in our country.After searching and arranging many literatures about self-concept and teachers'composition comments, i found there were not systematic summary of theory and empirical research, although some researches raised that teachers'composition comments have effect on children's self-concept. As a result, the study aim at teachers'composition comments and children's self-concept. Design of ANOVA before and after experiment about 104 the third grade students as the research object, and the experimental classes 53 people,51 people that in comparative classes. The experimental classes once a week, a total of 10 times the teacher composition evaluation, but in comparative classes will not make any commentary. Teachers composition comments as the independent variable to children on the self-concept scale score as the dependent variable, "peris-Harris self-concept scale" as a research tool, and supplemented by interviews with teachers composition evaluation analysis. The research results were listed as follows.(1)The teachers'composition comments can improve the intelligence, school situation, body and the appearance, happiness and satisfied factors significantly.(2) Action, get on well with others didn't reach significant level, but from the student interview, teachers evaluation still have effect on them.Generally speaking, teachers'composition comments (use incentives appreciated, specific, respect students' comments) can lead to an improvement in children's self-concept, which is the one of the important factors that affect children's self-concept. Therefore, teachers must pay attention to the comments affect child development.
