The problem of left behind children has been the focus of social problems, especially in recent years, left behind children with behavior problems frequently appear in the news report,which has aroused great concern from all walks of life on the ideological and moral problems of unattended children. Children' s moral include cognition, moral emotion, moral will and moral behavior four psychological factors. Children' s ideological and moral formation and development is the process of the formation and development of the four psychological factors. Junior middle school stage is an important stage of the ideological and moral development of children, at this stage, children need obedience to authority and rules, parents and teachers need to make the prosocial behavior given timely reinforcement and evaluation. It become stable moral behavior. Left behind children appear ideological and moral problems of the crux of the problem which lies in the parents leaving left behind children 's moral cognition lack of guidance, the lack of moral emotion cultivation, moral behavior, lack of supervision. The bad influence of social environment, the limited play the role of school moral education and youth in physical and mental development of the special stage of the three major factors exacerbate the severity of the ideological and moral of the left behind children.Left behind children is not equal to "problem child", but "vulnerable children". The study found that part of the left behind children have the basic moral cognition and moral emotion. a small part of the left behind children even in the face of adversity exercise a strong moral will. But most of the left behind children appeared worrisome ideological and moral issues, such as the formation of the trend of utilitarianism, commercialism and hedonism people view, moral apathy, cynicism phenomenon is serious, behavioral problems prominent.The left behind children' s ideological and moral status also showed some differences because of gender and grade differences.The joint efforts of all parties needed solve the problem of left behind children' s ideological and moral status.the society should give the left behind children creating a good external environment support, school education should attach importance to the cultivation of children' s moral cognition level and their ability to judge, the most important and can not be replaced is the care of their parents. Parents should take responsibility and strengthen contacting guardian agent, grasp the child's academic, moral status, seeking a variety of ways with the children' s life and study guide, with the soul of love to care for the children, make them from the heteronomy to self-discipline. Construction of the family, school, social trinity of education system is the inevitable choice to solve the left behind children' s thinking and moral status, we hope under the joint efforts of the whole society and care, the left behind children is out of the life of adversity, into a bright future.
