As for higher education, it has always paid the most attention to students by putting them in the first place. Quality of education has also been an important topic for people during conversation. As we know, the goal of higher vocational colleges is different from that of universities and secondary vocational schools since it aims to cultivate practical and technical talents so as to provide resources for local economic transition as well as enterprises upgrading. Students'evaluation on teaching system accounts for the maximum proportion of teaching evaluation system; and meanwhile it is an important section to establish sound teaching quality and supervisory system in the whole school, which is the fundamental requirement of improving teaching level and strengthening teaching administration. Although most higher vocational colleges in China have their own students'teaching evaluation system, evaluation system for teaching quality in higher colleges is still mechanical, one-sided and insufficient since students'evaluation on teaching quality has just lasted for a short time without a comprehensive view on the establishment from the angle whole teaching quality and administration. Thus, effect and efficiency haven't been fully achieved regarding administration. That is, teaching quality hasn't been improved by students'evaluation. In practical teaching environment, students'evaluation has usually been separated from other evaluations, seen as an independent part of teaching evaluation. Both the formation and execution of students'evaluation are separated without being fully employed by other relevant departments. In the paper, I will explore ways from the following aspects to strengthen the administration of students' evaluation on teaching so as to optimize students' teaching evaluation system. First, clarifying responsibilities and duties of students for teaching evaluation; second, perfecting the execution of students' teaching evaluation; third, strengthening the employment of the results from students' teaching evaluation; fourth, intensifying supervisory work during students'evaluation of teaching quality.
