In this paper, the method of literature, investigation,mathematical statistics, logical analysis and other methods of badminton sports in Colleges and universities of Gansu Province to carry out the basic conditions, students and staff of the sport cognition, attitude and satisfaction, participative motivation and student organizations and teachers association development, sports team contest etc.status were investigated and analyzed. Timely find out that restricts the badminton movement development a series of "hidden", gives some suggestions for these"hidden", and establish a clear task for development of badminton sport in Colleges and universities, development goals, in order to better promote the badminton to maturity, and has taken a strong step to make bedding. The survey results are as follows: 1.he number of badminton elective course is more, the venue facilities are in short supply; after school, the school venues for students paid use or not open to the outside world, and the charge is higher;2.he badminton teacher although with bachelor degree from, but tend to graduate; the whole badminton referee grade level is on the low side; 55.88% badminton teachers through self-study and consult other professional badminton players in teaching and learning, lack of professional badminton teachers;3.Only a university did not open badminton elective course of students; 84.62% of colleges and universities from the second largest open this course,offered in semester 2, and students reflect the class hour arrangement too little; as a demonstration of the explanation, lack of combined with multimedia teaching means;4.Don't like badminton students accounted for 8.07%, do not understand,understand a badminton students accounted for 44.46%, indirectly reflect, schools lack the publicity and promotion of the sport, making the lack of the part like badminton, badminton, and with a positive attitude to participate in one of the students;5.Teaching staff Badminton Association and student badminton club activities frequency is low, the lack of professional guidance teachers; Gansu Province every year held a college staff badminton competition; Gansu Province almost never held the college students' badminton league, only held in Gansu Province College Students Games, has not yet set up the badminton.
