Cases Research On The Students Participation In University Management

Since the 90 s of the 20 th century, the thought and practice of the students participation in university management began to receive varying degrees of attention,let students learn to participate in the management, to adapt to democratic governance is a new requirement to the management of universities in this country and society.However, a large number of studies have indicated that the current situation of students participation in university management is not deep enough, the level of participation is not high, limited to the primary level, and so on.How to change the current situation of the students in university management, the main role in the management of the university has become an important research topic.In this study,by the 1990 s the rise of participation type from the perspective of governance theory,using survey research method and case study method, selects four domestic universities as cases study to explore the students to participate the present situation and the basic process.And then use the participation governance theory to analysis the problems and reasons existing in the management,find the information, student power,relationship and the way, grade, students personality and feedback is are the main factors affecting the university students participation.To this end, from the policy,operation mechanism, information and cultural aspects of the improvement of the current university students to participate in the management of the existing problems.The study includes five parts:The first part explains the background and significance of the selected topic, the review of domestic and foreign research, research ideas, research methods and possible innovations.The second part, the definition of related concepts; described in governance connotation, main characteristics, for students to participate in management to provide theoretical support; introduction to participate in the main model of governance, the analysis affects the university student to participate in university management; to investigate the involvement of therapy and democratic managementin university of applicability on students participation in universities management.The third part, using survey research methods to understand the the overall situation of students participation in university management; selected four domestic universities as cases study, to explore the students to participate the present situation and the basic process. use the participation governance theory to analysis the problems and reasons existing in the management.The fourth part, on the basis of the previous chapter, puts forward the countermeasures to promote students to participate in the university managementThe fifth part is the conclusion and prospect. Summary of the full text, points out the deficiencies and areas to be improved.
