| Higher education as part of our modern vocational education system is an important force to support the economic and social development.Since the reform and opening up,China’s vocational education has made considerable progress,but a lot of problems have also followed,such as skill-biased characteristic in vocational education,which has resulted in the negligence of a man’s moral education.The scholar Zhang Zai in Song Dynasty said," An educated person with expertise has to be required first to be loyal and honest,and then asked to be smart and capable;If he is talented but treacherous,he is just like a wolf not approachable." It has proved since ancient time,that the talented people lack of moral education are very harmful to the society.The tonyred,melamine,vaccine,computer viruses,and the like are the disasters caused by those with superb science skills but without moral foundation.To harm the society for their own personal interest has become a serious problem,Dr.Arnold J.Toynbee said,"Only Chinese Confucianism could solve the human problems in the 21 st century.” The Disciples’ Rules as one of the Confucian classics has a profound educational content.Chapters on Gaozi in Mencius wrote: "The road of learning is to seek the reassurance and carry on."That is to say the way of learning is in the heart,it is to bring back the lost heart and return to the goodness.The Disciples’ Rules is an inner learning,is about the human nature;the purpose is to achieve inner peace and moral improvement through the standardized management of daily conduct.This paper aims at integrating Disciples’ Rules with the vocational education,in order to promote vocational students’ professional skills and ethics training,furthermore to open up a new way for the development of vocational education.The structure of the paper is as follows: Chapter I is an introduction of the background and significance of the research;the literature review,research methods,some concepts and the innovations are defined as well.Chapter II is the status quo of Higher Vocational Education,and it is clarified from the four aspects: the present situation in Higher Vocational Education,Higher Vocational Education problems,problem factors’ analysis in Higher Vocational Education,and the missing of traditional culture in Higher Vocational Education.Chapter III is about the embodiment of moral values of Disciples’ Rules in Higher Vocational Education,which includes the origin,aboriginality,tradition and target.Chapter IV is the value of Disciples’ Rules in,Higher Vocational Education and the analysis of filial piety,brotherhood,honor,credit,loving all,benevolence and learning the text in Higher Moral Education.Chapter V is the elaboration of establishment and implementation of Higher Vocational Education System from the aspects of conditions,implementation and evaluation. |
