The modern enterprise to talented person’s demand presents the trend of diversification, but in higher occupation education the conventional teaching is difficult to meet the students’personality characteristics and development of the industry needs the perfect combination, combined with the current characteristics of cooking industry and higher vocational colleges teachers and students, learn from China’s traditional cooking industry division lead to methods, in Qingdao School of hotel management professional cooking in the implementation of mentoring" personnel training mode, through the" mentoring" project teaching mode of higher occupation education training, so that students can quickly adapt to the requirements of enterprises, give full play to students’ characteristics, reach the school and market seamless docking, the perfect fusion of classroom and workshop. The realization of teaching and the market front-line practice, teaching environment, production environment, marketing environment and service environment, overcomes the students to study professional knowledge and skills of blindness and its own characteristics of the bound, breaks down each learning module independence and dissociative, strengthen the students’ grasp of market capacity, contributed to the production skill, sales skill and integrated service skills to master and use. The implementation of "mentoring" personnel training mode, give full play to the teachers’ traditional master sense of mission and sense of honor, to teach all, improve the quality of teaching; at the same time, strengthen the students’sense of responsibility and professionalism, fully mobilize students’ learning cooking skills and knowledge actively, realize the teaching benefits teachers as well as students. The harmonious relationship between teachers and students, form the good campus culture, to achieve a win-win situation. The modern occupation education and traditional education combined, the mentoring relationship in the industry which the identity and cohesion, ingrained win support among the people, for the industry spirit, occupation ethics and professional skills are passed down from generation to generation. Thus for the sustainable development of the enterprise reserve and technology and high-quality management personnel, improve the core competitiveness of enterprises, for the catering industry development made important contribution.
