As one of the most popular items in the track and field events, but its popularity in the middle school physical education class is low, and in Haikou City, there are also such problems, it is worth pondering.In this paper, to influence the Haikou City middle school sports and health course Hurdle Run teaching factors as the research object, using the method of literature, questionnaire survey, expert interviews and other research methods, of Haikou City middle school sports and health course Hurdle Run teaching factors were investigated, the find main factors influence Haikou City middle school physical education and health course in Hurdle Race Teaching, Haikou City middle school sports and health course hurdle run better teaching the development of recommendations.Through the survey found:1, hurdle race teaching venues and facilities, inadequate; 2, teachers of Hurdle Run technical level is not high, failed to meet the learning needs of students; 3, interest in learning is not high students think master hurdle technical difficulty is big.4, the proportion of the hurdle race course is not coordinated, the teaching design is not perfect.In view of the above problems, put forward the following suggestions; 1, improve the hardware conditions, to establish a relatively specialized field; 2, to strengthen the physical education teacher training efforts, improve teachers' professional and technical level; 3, take various measures, improve students' learning interest;4. Scientific and reasonable arrangements for the hurdles running course teaching content.
