The Combination Of Popular Music And Classical Music In Teaching Of Middle School

The topic discussed is the combination of popular music and classical music in teaching of middle school.This paper includes five chapters.Chapter 1 The introduction part.Mainly about background of selected topic, subject investigated,dissertation research methods,main content.The background is,today's middle school students prefer popular music to classical music in music class.The subject is based on how to combine classical music with popular music in teaching in music class of middle school.The methods we choose in this paper is literature review,questionnaire survey,case study,.Main content including:It is respectively described thet education development and evolution in music of middle school before.and after reform is different.Details of the changes of educational content and function in music of middle school;The conceptions definition of classical music and popular music;Constructive ideas of how to combine classical music with popular music in teaching;The meaning popular music and classical music bring to middle school students.About education development and evolution in music of middle school,including two sections:first part is about the history of educational development in music of middle school,second part is about the changes of educational content and function in music of middle school.the core of this paper and about the combination of popular music and classical music in teaching of middle school.The combination description is mainly around two aspects,i.e.rhythm and melody.The main reason to choose these two aspects is that middle school students know them enough and the two belong to the content of their study.They may not understand the points if harmony and form of popular music integrate into classical music.Then there will be some trouble in class and it is not good for class activities.The meaning of combination of popular music and classical music,including four aspects:improving the students inventive abilities in music,promoting students to be more expressive,developing a feeling of music for students,expanding students horizons of music.New standards provide that students should be well-rounded for studing music.This paper is for the same purpose and it is so small a part that aim to contribute to middle schoolmusic education.
