The key to the development of education lies in teachers,the teacher is the Foundation of Teaching.There is a high level of teachers,there is a high level of education,and also first-class talents.With the rapid development of society,requirements on teachers have been improved.The new round of curriculum reform requires teachers to set up the concept of "student-centered",to change the role of teachers,to update the teaching methods and to improve the teaching skills.The emerging of Education Degree of Master conforms to the requirements of the times,and what the Ed.M cultivates is the the top talents in the areas of elementary teaching and management.However,at present,the research on the training goal of full-time education master is still not comprehensive enough,especially on the research of the specific professional training target system.At the same time,the training objectives of most universities still exist the target set is not perfect,the specific requirements is too general and need to be further improved.Therefore,this paper on the study of the subject teaching(Geography)professional training target system has a strong practical significance.This paper mainly uses the documentation method,text analysis,questionnaires method and statistical method.First,this paper presents the background,significance,research ideas and methods.Secondly,the theoretical basis,research progress and related concepts are summarized.Thirdly,through the collection and arrangement of the training objectives in the training programs of nine colleges,the setting status of training objectives is analyzed.Fourthly,by reading a lot of literature and the questionnaire research,this paper investigates and analyzes the training status and demand status.Fifthly,according to the setting status of training objectives and the demand status of Education Master,the research tries to build a training target system of subject teaching(Geography),and puts forward some suggestions about the target implementation.Finally,the paper summarizes the main conclusions,innovations,deficiencies and prospects.The training objective of the subject teaching(Geography)of nine universities was reorganized and analysed.It founds that the localization of training target was based on the specific situations of the training units,perspective students and the characteristics of professional degree,to develop the geography teachers with certain qualities,including the three aspects of knowledge,skills and personal qualities.And there were also some questions:the setting of training objectives is not comprehensive,specific requirements are too broad.The survey,"training status and demand",was conducted on Masters of Education in Geography.It showed:(1)The professional backgrounds of the postgraduates of Geography Course Teaching are different,the motivation to choose this profession is different,the experiences of teaching and research are poor.(2)The whole level of knowledge is low,and the need for knowledge is not all met.Most of the students expect to strengthen the knowledge of middle school textbooks and curriculum,teaching and research methods,geographical frontier and the development,professional knowledge and the new curriculum reform of geography.(3)The ability of teaching practice and research and the ability of combing the theory and practice,is poor,and the need for skills is not all satisfied.Most students hope to strengthen the ability of teaching practice,teaching research,curriculum.research and development,the combination theory and practice.(4)Attitude to learning and occupation intentions of the postgraduates are positive.The overall level of psychological quality is higher,but there are still a small part of the students to be improved.And the demand of personal quality is outstanding,in particular,hope to strengthen the advanced educational concepts,expand their horizons and enhance the modern sense of vision.Based on the training programs and survey results,this article build the discipline teaching(Geography)-professional training target system from the three aspects of knowledge,skills and personal quality.Specific contents are:the first module is the construction of knowledge system,including general knowledge,professional knowledge,and educational theoretical knowledge.The second module is to construct the skill objectives,including the ability of teaching practice,of teaching reflection and research,of the research and development of curriculum,of the combination of theory and practice,of self-development ability,of reading foreign literature and of writing a professional paper in English.The third module is to construct the target system of personal quality,including the four aspects:political ideology,occupation quality,professional spirit and the physical and mental quality.In addition,the paper puts forward the recommendations of the implementation of training objectives:to set up the the courses conforming to the needs of students,to choose teaching forms to enhance the students' teaching ability,to launch the driving force of teachers,to play the students' learning autonomy.The conclusions include:(1)The setting of training goal of subject teaching(Geography)needs to be further improved.(2)The training status of Master of education is not optimistic,the training needs is diversity.(3)The training target system of subject teaching(Geography)was constructed.(4)Some suggestions of implementing the training objectives were put forward.The innovation in this paper is that the training target system of subject teaching(Geography)was constructed.Based on the analysis of the setting status of training goal,training status and demand status of Masters of Education in Geography,according to the Cartel's professional education target classification method,the training target system is divided into three aspects:knowledge,skills,and personal qualities.
