With the advance of the new curriculum reformation, the inquiry teaching of physics has achieved certain results both in theory and in practice. Physics teachers have accumulated a lot of valuable experience from it, nevertheless, at the same time, there are still some misunderstanding on the inquiry teaching, resulting in the practical process of inquiry teaching in physical education encountered many obstacles. In this context, it is of vital significance for the physics teachers to develop a suitable way for the middle school physical inquiry teaching practice, and to develop the inquiry teaching in physical more perfectly.Inquiry teaching is an essential part of the new curriculum reform in physics for middle school. In order to have a deep sight into the practice of physics education in middle school, we have studied this issue using the methods of literature research, questionnaire survey, interviewing and action research method, and we write this thesis according to the research results.Based on the understanding of the physical new curriculum standards for middle school and reflections on the current situation of middle school physical education, we discuss and explore the practice on acquisitive teaching of physics in middle school from the following aspects. In the first section, we summarize the relevant knowledge about inquiry teaching, introduce the research background, main innovation and deficiencies at home and abroad, and clarify the purpose and significance. In the second section, based on constructivist learning theory, cognitive learning theory, multiple intelligence theory, we demonstrate the theoretical basis of inquiry teaching of physics and make an overview of the main concepts of inquiry teaching. In the third section, we respectively from the conditions of practice> the basis of practice、the principle of compile instructional design and the matters needing attention of inquiry teaching practice. In the forth section, after the preparation of physical inquiry teaching is completed, according to the teaching design before class, inquiry teaching of physics in middle school is performed and the teaching process record is analyzed. In the fifth section, by setting "want to study"、"known how to study" and "good learning effect" as the scales, respectively, the effects of inquiry teaching practice of physics in middle school was evaluated and analyzed. In the sixth section, the main results and deficiency of the research are summarized, and in addition, we look forward to the further research. All of these researches will do better for the teaching practice of physics in middle school, and we hope that this work will provide reference for later research teaching practice.
