Subject teaching activities, which focus on children’s inter-relationships of learning content before and after teaching, is beneficial to children’s continuity and systemic knowledge. Community is the children’s growth environment as well as important resources in the early childhood education. Community resources can be used to carry out the theme of teaching activities, which can not only help children to develop better, but also can build up good relationships between school, community and family. However, in practice, the following problems may exist in the use of community resources carrying out the theme of teaching activities: on one hand, the choosing of theme breaks away from the community environment, and it does not pay attention to the actual world of children. On the other hand, in the process of community resources organizing kindergarten theme teaching activities, the form is superficial, and it does not further develop and use community resources effectively.In addition to them, after doing subject teaching activities, timely feedback and adjustment of the use of community resources are not made accordingly.This research mainly bases on case analysis, it combines theory researches and practice researches. Researcher selected kindergarten A in Tainan,Taiwan province as the base of the case analysis. Through the interview method, observation method,physical method, the background of this kindergarten’s theme teaching activities and the source of the choosing content are understood, and at the same time the themes of all process are faithfully recorded. By collecting data from teaching activities using the community resources for teaching design, teaching process and teaching evaluation in kindergarten A, researcher analyzed the characteristics of Taiwan kindergarten theme teaching activities and the content which is worth using for reference. It aims to provide some useful references and inspirations in the use of community resources for kindergarten in mainland.Through the study, researcher finds: some revelations in the process of community resources organizing kindergarten theme teaching activities in Taiwan province can be guided: 1. The theme of teaching activities is an important way to inherit the idea of "filial piety love”. 2. It is a sustainable, growing and developing mode to build a community culture and promotes the effective use of community resources. 3. In the process of implementing the content, new topic arises from the old theme, and knowledge learning is systematic; 4. Multivariate dynamic evaluationmodel can promote the all-round development of children. 5. We can choose the children’s perspective and practice contemporary views on children, the views of"children as the standard" and "children as the center" are reflected in teaching activities. 6. Subject teaching are thought under the collective teaching situation,highlighting the topic background to carry out the collective teaching activities effectively. And we can develop the value under the background of subject,combining the value orientation to do the teaching.
