A Comparative Study On The Modern Apprenticeship Of Britain And Switzerland

In recent years, driven by the development of the global economy, countries started to pay attention to the reform of vocational education, apprenticeship as a talents training mode, which was reabsorbed by the modern vocational education, and in the multi-participation of enterprises, schools, industry associations, apprenticeship evolved into the Modern Apprenticeship.In recent years, the UK has increased its apprenticeship reform, now the British apprenticeship has made remarkable achievements in recruit, employment and so on.While the apprenticeship training has a long history in Switzerland, along with the development of the industry association training, and the cooperation of school-enterprise and the active participation of industry organization, the traditional apprenticeship has evolved into the modern unique mode—the triple system.Firstly, this study analyses the background factors on apprenticeships of both British and Switzerland, and then introduce the modern apprenticeship forms from two aspects of the teaching implementation and organization management, finally analysis the effect of the two countries' modern apprenticeship by official data of the two countries, summarizes the characteristics and experience of the two countries' apprenticeship. On the basis of these, make a comparative study on two countries' modern apprenticeship from three dimensions — implementation background, morphological and functional effects,Sums up the successful experience and the challenge of the two countries' modern apprenticeship,Draw the main successful experiences between the two countries 'apprenticeship are:the national apprenticeship service agencies are better;apprenticeship employment is focus on flexibility and mobility; management accountability and decision-making are clear; quality control is strict; legal protection is sound; complete and effective career guidance, and close relationship of both apprenticeship training and labor market; broad support and participation in all areas etc. Finally, by combining the problems in the development of our country's vocational education, put forward some inspiration and advice for China's modern apprenticeship.
