With the rapid development of economy,at the same time,resources and environment is facing a serious crisis,the future of the world,a measure of national development will be the basis for the sustainable development of the comprehensive national strength competition.Under the influence of the environment,all countries attach great importance to sustainable development,adhere to implement the strategy of sustainable development in our country,and the sustainable development education is the important way to realize sustainable development strategy,in the junior high school geography curriculum are also put forward the development of lifelong learning useful geography,there are many and the sustainable development education in junior middle school geography teaching closely linked,so penetrate sustainable development education in teaching more convenient.This article uses the literature method and the case analysis method,and divided into five parts,the first part is mainly expounds the research background,significance,and methods,pointed out in the geography teaching of research status of education for sustainable development,summarizes some achievements in research of this problem.The second part is the definition of the concept of sustainable development education and theoretical basis,as well as the sustainable development of education should follow the relevant principles.The third part is the feasibility analysis of the sustainable development education in middle school geography teaching,which is analyzed from three aspects: curriculum standard,teaching material content and students' psychology.The fourth part is the main part of this thesis,mainly expounds the teaching mode of education for sustainable development,combined with three teaching cases were analyzed,and finally the implementation of this teaching mode has effect,respectively from the teaching effect,the quality of teachers and students' individual development of several aspects of this thesis.The fifth part is to provide some suggestions for the implementation of the education of sustainable development,hoping to study the sustainable development of education for others to play a certain reference.
