Research On The Cultivation Of Senior High School Students' Geography Key Competence

Under the wave of education reform at home and abroad,the new term of core competences comes into being,which have received extensive attention by the education circle.Guided by students' core competences,geography core competences were based on geography competences.On the basis of knowledge,skill,emotion,attitude,character and thinking,geography core competences are the necessary key ability and essential character in students' geography learning process,which have gradually formed to adapt to the needs of social development and individual life-long and all-round development.With characteristics of comprehensive,developmental and universal,geography core competences are composed of the spatial perspective,map skills,regional cognition,comprehensive thinking,man-earth concept,geography practice ability.The cultivation of geography core competences can help students better adapt to the current and future society,promoting the students' life-long development and social benign operation.The cultivation of geography core competences have become an important task in high school geography teaching.Scholars have discussed the training strategy,but how to cultivate specifically high school students' geography core competences is the wise see wisdom.Core competences are not yet implemented in the practical level.Therefore,it is a complex and arduous project,which need days and months multiplying efforts to overcome.The paper is circled with geography core competences,using the method of questionnaire survey,literature research,and other methods.First,based on era background and the theoretical basis,with the analysis of domestic and foreign literature and research,I made defines for the connotation of geography core competences,and puts forward the features and elements of geography core competences.Then,through the questionnaire survey to acknowledge the current situation of high school geography literacy core,the data statistics and analysis,to solve the existing problems from different angles of interpretation.Finally,according to the results of other people's research and practice experience,on the basis of the six elements of the geography core competences,I put forward the training strategiesrespectively with different angles.There are six aspects: set problem situation,culturing space perspective;strengthen training,improving map skills;innovate form of exercises,constructing area of cognitive;design case study,lead the comprehensive thinking;use classroom introduction,set up scientific view;carry out field surveys,implementing geography practice ability.
