The Operation And Predicament Of Rural Non-Profit Organizations

With the development of urban-rural integration, the economy, political, and culture have a rapid development in rural areas, and it brings unprecedented opportunities for the development of the rural non-profit organizations.However, the study of rural non-profit organizations from the perspective of social work is almost missing at this stage.The article takes three groups in YongLian Village as the research object.The author,through the method of on-the-spot investigation and interview,analyzes the operation situation of the three groups from the type, scale of nonprofit organization, human resources, project operation and capital source. Combined with the actual project of social work the article demonstrates the highly fit between professional social work and non-profit organizations in the service areas and content. It is concluded that social work can promote the operation and development of the rural non-profit organizations with its huge professional advantages.At the same time, through the study of the three organizations in their respective operation process, the article sums up multiple problems faced by the rural non-profit organizations in the operation and development of social work services,and analyzes the causes of their problems from the two sides of within and outside the organization. Further,the author explores the future development of the rural non-profit organizations from the perspective of social work.The feasibility of proposed recommendations from the expansion of multiple funding sources,to strengthen the professionalism of the volunteer service and employ social work supervisor.
