Chinese national culture is extensive and profound, of long standing and well established. In order to achieve the goal of realizing the l great rejuvenation of China, we must inherit the traditional Chinese culture.Recitation teaching is one of our traditional educational means, is the so-called “when a book is read a hundred times,its meanings will naturally become clear.” Today, we advocate Chinese classical reading because of inheriting and carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture. Now it still in the stage of exploration, so there is a lot of problem in practice that n eed to be solved. Through the study of relevant literature and the survey of primary L school in the Tianhe district of Guangzhou, the thesis attempt to find the problem on it and provide the reference. This thesis mainly conclude six part.The introduction as the first is to state the reason of choosing this subject, literature review,the main research methods and the meaning the paper involved. Chapter two mainly introduce the implication of “classics” and “reading” to clarify the concept of “reading classics”. Chapter three discuss the value and the implementing principles of “reading classics”. Based on the investigation analysis of activity?s status in primary L school, chapter four put forward the existing problem and the reason of “reading classics”. Chapter five states the measures of primary classical reading. The conclusion part will forecast the future development of Chinese classical reading in primary schools, and point out the correct attitude of the education on classical reading.
