There is a trend of internationalization of Chinese language all over the world. The South Korea, which lies to the east of China, is more active in learning Chinese. In 2012,China and South Korea signed a program called CPIK. In this project, a large numbers of Chinese volunteer will be sent to Korea to teach Chinese language in primary and secondary schools in Korea. As a member of the 2015 CPIK, I taught Chinese in South Korea for a year. In the course of teaching, it is found that the game teaching method is the most suitable for Chinese teaching in non-Chinese speaking countries.Children need an impetus to study. There is no doubting that the best learning motivation is the student intrinsic interest. Game has known to be the most effective method in stimulating the interest of student. Game teaching is to form teaching of game, which the game can be regarded as a way of learning. When students in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, they will learn Chinese unconsciously. The way which we combined the "game" with "teaching" together can active classroom atmosphere, cause students' interest in learning, stimulate students' competitiveness and focus the attention of students. For language teaching, the game allows students to practice all the time. And active learners are able to acquire new skills faster and to better use.In this paper, we analyses the characteristics of the psychological development of the pupils, and use the theory of cognitive psychology and the second language teaching theory as a guide to explain the advantages of game teaching. Then, we take the teaching experience of South Jeolla Province primary school as an example to analysis the game teaching and explore. Hope it would be useful to promote the Chinese culture.
