As is known, the 21 st century is a knowledge economy age with the remarkable development of the science and technology. Therefore, the requirements of talents also have increasingly high standard, and cultivating comprehensive talents has become a major trend in the development of education. However, high school education has a common problem that the learning of single discipline knowledge is emphasized without the integration of the related subjects. It can easily cause monotonous knowledge systems and hinder the cultivation of comprehensive ability of students, which is contrary to the requirements of comprehensive talents. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the integration teaching of different disciplines. It has always been close between politics and history, and the disciplines of politics and history is inseparable. Based on teaching practice, the political teaching of high school with the integration of history knowledge is studied in the paper.According to the experimental textbook of high school politics published by People's Education Press(PEP), the application of history knowledge in the political classes is discussed in the paper. Four chapters are included in the paper. The first chapter is the introduction that the reason for selection and overseas and domestic research status are showed. On this basis, the significance, research methods and innovations of this paper are put forward. In the second chapter, the theory basis on the application of history knowledge to the high school political teaching is raised, including the necessity, the feasibility of this teaching method and the correlation between history knowledge and high school political teaching. In the third chapter, based on the application of history knowledge to the teaching practice in the Second middle school, Chen Xi County, Huai Hua city, the main effects and problems are researched. In the forth chapter, according to the current experimental textbook of high school politics of PER and case analysis of the author's teaching, the specific application process of history knowledge in the high school political class is analyzed.The study aimed to investigate the application of relevant historical knowledge teaching practice on high school political class, in order to help improve the multi-subject penetration teaching mode of high school political lesson.
