Students' mental health problems are growing more in the high school.Because of their life and their own internal and external environmental factors,high school students' mental toughness has much difference,in perception and cognition to happiness,and individual demand of happiness.In class management,how to improve students' ability of mental toughness,improve high school students' happiness and promote the healthy growth of high school students,is becoming an important topic of the high school education in the new period.This study first defines the concept of mental toughness,happiness,and class management.From the research on mental toughness,subjective well-being,and psychological well-being,this paper makes the summary of the current research situation.Using “Adolescents' mental resilience scale” edited by Hu yueqin and Gan yiqun in 2008,and Miao yuanjiang's "General happiness questionnaire," this paper surveyed three high school students in a certain city in Shandong province.800 pieces were handed out,and 732 were handed in,679 of which are valid.Valid pieces account for 92.4% of the all questionnaires.Through studying,the conclusions are as follows:1.There is obvious relationship between happiness and mental toughness for high school students.Students' subjective well-being show significant positive correlation to target focus and positive cognitive dimension of mental toughness.And It has significant negative correlation to emotional control,High school students' psychological well-being has significant positive correlation to target focus,positive cognitive dimensions of mental toughness.It has significant negative correlation to the dimension of emotional control and interpersonal assistance of mental toughness.2.High school students get the neutral or higher marks in mental toughness marks,the dimension scores from high to low in turn is positive cognition,target focus,emotional control,human assistance,and family support.High school students' happiness level is higher,psychological well-being is higher than subjective well-being.High school students' mental toughness and happiness,have much difference in gender,whether the one-child,self-reported personality,age,grade,excellent condition,hobbies,,self evaluation way of family education,self-evaluation of grades,and academic pressure.As for gender,in mental toughness focus,positive cognition,family support,and interpersonal assist dimension,boys get higher score than girls.But boys get lower score than girls in emotional control dimensions.In the dimension of subjective well-being,and psychological well-being,boys are better than girls.As for whether the one-child,in target focus,family support,and interpersonal help,the one child is better than not-one-child.But In emotional control,positive cognitive,the result is opposite.In happiness dimensions of subjective well-being,psychological well-being,boys are better than girls.As for the self-assessment,outgoing students are weaker in mental toughness,and stronger in well-being,while introverted students are stronger in mental toughness and weaker in happiness.As for age,students aged 16 is better than those aged 18 in mental toughness,which is opposite in well-being.As for grades,senior three students' mental toughness and happiness is better,senior one students' mental toughness is weaker,senior two students' happiness sense is weaker.As for excellent condition,students who were not rated as outstanding student are weaker in mental toughness,and happiness is also low.With the increasing of grade,mental toughness and happiness are gradually growing.As for hobbies,especially students who like sports,have stronger mental toughness and well-being.While students whose hobbies is little or art,mental toughness has weaker mental toughness and weaker happiness.When it comes to self-evaluation of family education ways,students in ordinary families have weaker mental toughness and happiness,while students in democratic families are more happily.What's more,students who are not taken care of have weaker mental toughness.When it comes to self-reported grades,and academic pressure,students' mental toughness and happiness gradually increase,with the increase of self-reported grades;Students with less learning pressure have weaker mental toughness,while more pressure,stronger.Students with less learning pressure are happier,while students with more pressure have weaker happiness.This study,based on mental toughness' influence on happiness,illuminates the reasons for the weaker happiness in those conditions such as girls,not-alone children,introverted,16-year-old,juniors,students not considered excellent,no hobbies,self-reported family education way,low self-reported grades and self-reported learning.By analysing the reasons,combined with improving mental toughness,this paper puts forward lots of countermeasures of improving sense of happiness of high school students in class management.I expect that the study can be used for reference to solving problems of mental toughness and happiness in high school students,which at the same time,can be of benefit to solve many mental health problems in class management of the current high school.
