Under the national sports policy background, the sports colleges and universities across the country are developing wrestling as a new curriculum resources into the special courses and elective class,an now present all kinds degree of development. Wrestling is an aperiodic directly against competitive project, two people have a battle in terms of speed, strength,stamina and agility in a short period of time, and it present a short time, big strength and competition intense and complex. With the constant improvement of wrestling skill by itself, it put forward higher learning challenges and difficulties to master the situation in a short time, so how to cultivate the wrestling elective courses students practice basic skills and improve the effect of teaching and training need to pay close attention to and work on the problem of crack for many teachers and students.Imagery training is on the basis of motion perception, repeat the movement of the scene,action image, visual imagery and kinesthetic imagery in your mind. It as a more mature methods of psychological training skill be used to most of the complex structure of sports teaching and training,and have accumulated quite a lot of successful experience, in a word it has a positive significance to the promotion of teaching effect. Therefore,the application of imaginary training to the wrestling in elective course teaching and training is this topic research.This article through the literature material law, questionnaire investigation,image training experiment method and other methods to comparative analysis the teaching effect of wrestling elective course teaching in colleges and universities between image training teaching method and traditional teaching,on the basis of study the image training theory and wrestling teaching and training. Conclusions are as follows:(1) Wrestling elective course in colleges and universities in the application of imaginary training techniques is good for improving the accuracy and completeness of master technology, and more reasonable in using skills, promoting the formationof sports skills.(2) Application in wrestling elective course in colleges is representation than traditional teaching method is beneficial to improve the students' self-efficacy,improving learning motivation and relieve anxiety.(3) Over a period of time, compared to the students in control group, the experimental image training group significantly improved the representation ability.
