Recent years,with the reform of fertility policy,schools with more than two thousand students and teachers emerge by revocation and consolidation.The emergence of these schools brings great convenience to the society,for it not only settles the issue of students,but also takes full advantage of education resources.With a large number of students and teachers,it is hard for school administrators to take everything into account,which may cause disorder in large schools.The strain on school administrators requires them to decentralize the right in order to improve the management.Grade group is the interior administrative organization which is divided by grade.It plays an irreplaceable role in a large school and largely decides the development of a school.So,it is of great necessity to study the optimal strategy of grade group management.Suzhou Industrial Park Xinghai Primary School,as a large school,wins its reputation for the efficient management.The author,as the deputy leader of grade group,has several years'experience of management and has thought a lot about it.This paper is based on Webb's hierarchy management model and matrix organization theory,using questionnaire survey method and case study method as the starting point,to study the management of the grade group in large schools.Through the investigation,it is found that the grade group plays the role in the school's various education and teaching work with the advantage of high efficiency.But there are some problems in the investigation,such as the selection and management of the grade team leaders also need to be more transparent,grade group management position in the school is relatively low,the senior leader of the power is not enough,the responsibilities between the grade and other parts of the school are not that clear and so on.To solve the above problems,this paper puts forward the need to further explore the questions:(1)improve the quality of teachers in the grade group;(2)grade groups play a greater role in the teaching and moral education;(3)enhance the status of the grade group.
