The Comparison And Exchange Of The Questions Of Classical Chinese In College Entrance Examination Between Chinese Mainland And Taiwan

As the essence of traditional Chinese culture and a valuable spiritual wealth, the classical Chinese has been reserved as written language of Chinese since the ancient times. People in mainland and Taiwan all pay close attention to the test questions of classical Chinese in the College Entrance Examination since the classical Chinese serves as the common identification of cultural value and common memory between these two regions. The author of this article gathered the examination paper of College Entrance Examination of the two regions issued from 2010 to 2014 and tried to analyze these test questions systematically. Firstly, the author will analyze the theories bases of these test questions so as to further explore the intention of the test designers. Secondly, the author will conclude the similarities and differences from the perspective of the content and form of the classical Chinese test questions of the two regions. Lastly, the author will add her deep consideration to this article on the basis of the conclusion of the similarities and differences in test questions hoping to promote the exchange and optimization of the design of test questions on traditional Chinese in the College Entrance Examination. The research is presented to deepen mutual-understanding of the test design in traditional Chinese in China Mainland and Taiwan and offer some help to the optimization of test designing work in College Entrance Examination.
