The purpose of the study is to improve current contemporary prose teaching strategies through examining existing classroom inefficiencies. To allow students to appreciate the visions and emotions that contemporary prose reading can bring and to use these thoughts into their views of the world. In accordance to the research purpose andanalysing relevant research sources collected, a more comprehensive grasp of the current state of the research purpose can be determined and thus affirms the framework of writing this article.While examining the many varying teaching methods employed in teaching contemporary prose, the article at the same time also incorporates PEP high school language textbook case studies for further analysis. This served to further demonstrate different methods of teaching prose and its operability.Through the research of teaching strategies for contemporary prose, the article would put forth some recommendations in going forward with contemporary prose teaching. By allowing a certaindegree of operability and freedom in the actual prose classroom will help play a definite role in improving student language literacy. |
