Virtue should become the main quality of moral education. Primary and middle school moral education, no matter offer direct moral education courses or indirect moral education courses through other disciplines should lead to the greatest concepts of virtue of human. In school education, Chinese is our nation's parent discipline. The Chinese discipline can embody the moral education more vividly and let us back to the ancestral veins.The real moral education should use the greatest concepts of virtue in human history as the content of moral education. These concepts of virtue are from the great books representing the whole of human culture. These great books should be granted as our home, because Chinese classical traditional culture of pre-Qin era is called "Axial Age", Culture produced in that era is the culture peak of Chinese history, never go beyond.Taiwan scholars Mr. Wei Zhengtong had done topics Index that including dozens of all important Qin Books. According to the index, he extracted a series of Chinese great ideas. Most of these ideas within the scope of morality and life. These concepts have great significance to moral education. They also are the essence of ancient wisdom and Chinese classical culture. Education should use the greatest concepts to shape our thinking. In fact, moral education is essentially a kind of idea education, moral development is the development of the virtue. Chinese discipline most concentrated express the Chinese great concepts, therefore it naturally have the function of moral education.Our education, especially the school education with curriculums as the main content, should let great concepts of the nation and all mankind as its knowledge and moral system. These great concepts, like Mr. Wei Zhengtong extracted from the China's great Books such as benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, faith, courage, etc. Moral education should use these concepts of virtue to expand the width and breadth of student's life.
