Implemented a new round of basic education curriculum reform in our country since2001, "Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial)" said: "Actively develop and reasonably utilize the all kinds of curriculum resources. " As a modern teacher should actively develop and utilize the various curriculum resources to improve teaching effectiveness. Well the author taught at Dongxiang County, Gansu Province, the local Dongxiang minority folk culture is very colorful. It can close the distance between teaching and students if minority folk culture of the Dongxiang is used to the Cultural Life teaching, it is also very useful to the local Cultural Life teaching work smoothly for the teacher.This article discusses why and how to apply Dongxiang minority folk culture teaching problems. This article is based on the author's teaching practice, the research process utilize the literature research, classroom observation, case analysis and action research. Through literature research, clear the latest research progress of the subject and look for the supporting the theoretical basis of this paper,it provides a useful ideas for the writing of this paper; the author observe and analyze the advantages and problems presented in the curriculum resource utilization by observing the school ideological and political class teaching, and carries on the summary and reflection. It expand the train of thought for which this paper should grasp the principle and rethinking parts, and provide valuable information about writing; in order to avoid weaknesses doctrinaire, In this article shows the author's six teaching practice cases which can demonstrated the viewpoint of the paper, provide empirical basis for the research of this topic. In addition to the above three methods, the author also used the action research method, combining research and practice, the research make this paper more detailed and convincing.Through this study, the author thinks it has the very strong practical significance which Dongxiang minority folk culture is applied to the teaching of high school Cultural Life, It not only enrich the teaching content, but also promote the students' learning enthusiasm. However, there are some problems in the applying,the author puts forward the corresponding measures to improve it.Finally, the post-research studies are prospected.
